Troubleshooting the Grease Gun


· Now, the gun should be ready for use, but if, after a few strokes grease does not flow out, you might have to unscrew the head a few turns to remove air bubbles.
· You can now tighten the unit.
The second method for filling the device is charging with grease in bulk quantities. To do this:
· You need to remove the filler cap from the head of the gun and insert the nipple that connects to the pump adapter.
· Now you can tighten, but make sure that you remove the empty cartridges, if any, in the gun. Failure to do so may break the cartridge which in turn can clog or damage the gun.
· Now hold the plunger rod and the handle in position inside the lever and operate the pump so that grease is filled within the gun.
The third method of loading a firearm is by the aspiration method.
Now we will discuss some of the common problems grease gun and ways to fix it:
· The handle of the gun is raised when the gun is not being used-dirt might be trapped inside the ball in and seal. This may be necessary to undo the unit and clean the ball and seat.
